Aayush Sharma began his career with Loveyatri (2018), produced by Salman Khan’s production house, Salman Khan Films. His next film, Antim (2021), was also backed by the superstar. In fact, the superstar even featured in Aayush’s second movie in a supporting role. Ruslaan, Aayush Sharma’s third outing, is not produced by Salman Khan. At the trailer launch of Ruslaan, Aayush Sharma, as expected, was asked about this aspect.

The journalist asked If he misses Salman Khan at Ruslaan’s trailer launch. Aayush Sharma replied, “Ma’am, I know you miss him. Even I miss him (smiles). For the trailer launch of my last two films, I had shared the stage with him. He has seen the film. His blessings are always there with me. Ruslaan is K K Radhamohan’s film. But his blessings are always going to be with me.”

Aayush Sharma continued, “I have done two films with SKF (Salman Khan Films), which is my home production. With this film, I am stepping out and working with new, beautiful people. I am learning so much from them, which is helping me.”

He also said, "My first day of shoot for Ruslaan was in Hyderabad. It was exciting to work with new, fresh set of people. But he (Salman Khan) has always blessed the film. I hope I can make him proud.”

Jagapathi Babu was asked about his equation with the Khan family. The veteran actor stated, “I am glad I am almost into the family (smiles)! Everybody knows that Salman bhai is so cool to work with and so is Aayush. Hence, I don’t see much of a difference in the working relationship. I enjoyed working on both Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023) as well as Ruslaan.”

At this point, Aayush Sharma revealed, “I was star struck looking at Jagapathi sir on the first day. I had seen so many of his films and I was like, ‘Yayy! I am going to be with sir. That’s going to be fun!’”

Besides Aayush Sharma and Jagapathi Babu, the trailer launch was graced by Sushrii Mishraa, Vidya Malavade, producer K K Radhamohan, director Karan L Butani and Narendra and Shreyans Hirawat of NH Studioz. Ruslaan releases in cinemas on April 26.
