Ruslaan trailer launch: Jagapathi Babu reveals that he knows in the first three days of the shoot whether the film will be a hit or a flop: “When I know the film is going to be bad, I am doing mental prostitution”

The trailer of the action entertainer Ruslaan was launched today at a multiplex in Mumbai. The event was graced by the lead actor Aayush Sharma along with Jagapathi Babu, Sushrii Mishraa, Vidya Malavade, producer K K Radhamohan, director Karan L Butani and Narendra and Shreyans Hirawat of NH Studioz. Jagapathi Babu was at his entertaining best as he gave headline worthy quotes.

Jagapathi Babu came on the stage and said, “Firstly, I am super impressed with the trailer and Aayush. He’s looking amazing. As for me, I am in Bollywood. So, I am comfortable. I don’t look at criticism at all!”

 

He further said, "Honestly, I want to work in all the languages in India because I want more experience. The more experience you have, the more lessons you learn. As far as this film is concerned, I’d like to say one thing. My producer knows me very well. If not in the open, I always tell my producer or director that this film will be bad and it’ll flop or it’ll be a hit. But Ruslaan is going to be a super-hit.”

 

When a shocked host asked when does he give his prediction to the makers, Jagapathi Babu said, “I say that in the first three days of shooting (laughs)! So, sometimes when I know the film is going to be bad, I am doing mental prostitution!”

 

Later, he spoke about his equation with Aayush Sharma and superstar Salman Khan, with whom he worked in his debut Bollywood film, Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (2023). “Everybody knows that Salman bhai is so cool to work with and so is Aayush. Hence, I don’t see much of a difference in working relationship. I enjoyed working on both Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan as well as Ruslaan,” he said.

 

Ruslaan releases in cinemas on April 26.
