After Disney+ Hotstar released a few Koffee With Karan Season 7 episodes, actress Alia Bhatt started trending on social media, but not for something good. The viewers got irked with that Karan Johar bringing up Alia Bhatt’s name in every conversation. The filmmaker broke the silence on the matter in an exclusive interview with Bollywood Hungama. He also stated three qualities that make her the best actress.

Interestingly in the fun rapid-fire round, Karan was asked to tell three things about Alia Bhatt that make her the best actress in the country. Before giving his answer, the director jokingly said, “I'm not saying anything. I don't want to be trolled.”

 

Then, he added, “Great instinct, a strong opinion which actually is tough to shake some, but an opinion is very important and the third is open-mindedness. On the other hand, we also asked him to rate the latest season of his chat show KWK on a scale of 1 to 10. KJo, without giving it a thought, said, “8.5”.

 

As the segment moved forward, the Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham director opened up on a misconception about him. He said, “I think people think I'm sitting on some pedestal, you know, trying to make and break careers and doing nothing. I'm trying to struggle and survive as much as every other filmmaker, there are enough and more actors that keep saying no to us.

 

 

He concluded by saying, “We just want to keep make sure that we make films that get cast correctly and release properly. And we always have the same stresses everybody else has. But somehow people don't think that. I'm contributing to people's talent. They have their talent. I can just provide an opportunity. But eventually, it's up to them.”
