Cast of Ranveer Singh starrer '83 mourns the loss of 1983 Cricket World Cup cricketer, Yashpal Sharma

The team of movie ‘83 including actors Ranveer Singh, Saqib Saleem, and Jatin Sarna expressed their sadness at the death of ace middle-order batsman Yashpal Sharma. They were left in shock as they lost a great cricketer and an important member of the 1983 Cricket World Cup. The 66 years old cricketer, Yashpal Sharma left for his heavenly abode following a cardiac arrest on Tuesday morning at Delhi. The actors said that it was unimaginable for them to accept the fact that the veteran cricketer is gone.

Jatin Sarna who plays the character of Yashpal Sharma in ‘83, communicated his emotion via an Instagram post. The actor can be seen taking tips and spending a lot of time with the former cricketer to grasp his body language and style. Paying a tribute to Yashpal Sharma he captioned his post, “This is not done sir, no not fair and god you too not fair. Yashpal sir ???? can't believe, you can not leave so soon abhi toh paari baaki thi, Abhi toh mulakaat baaki thi aapke ghar aana tha milne mujhe, Saath mai film dekhni thi aapke, aapke expression dekhne thae.. Yash paah yash paah???? karke chillana tha sabne sabko pata chalna tha kon hai ye sher, sir....????

Jatin Sharma seemed to be in huge shock as he shared the equation with the cricketer, their plans and wish to watch the movie together. Jatin also mentioned that he still had to learn many things from him but he left without completing his innings.

 

‘83 is a biographical sports movie based on the epic win at the 1983 Cricket World Cup. It is directed by Kabir Khan and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, Deepika Padukone, and Kabir Khan. The movie consists of a huge star cast of Ranveer Singh, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Jiiva, Saqib Saleem, Harrdy Sandhu, Ammy Virk, Pankaj Tripathi, Boman Irani, Nishant Dahiya, Sahil Khattar, Amrita Puri, and Deepika Padukone.
