B.O. update: 'Cash', 'Gandhi My Father', 'Naya Daur'

 

CASH: The much-awaited film finally opened this Friday, but contrary to expectations, the opening was not huge. The occupancy was between 40% and 70%. However, what goes against the film are the negative reports. It all depends on how this multi-starrer performs in its opening weekend and also, how it fares from Monday onwards. The film has been sold for very steep prices.

GANDHI MY FATHER: The opening response has been very poor. But the silver lining is the appreciation from the multiplex junta. A lot depends on how the film behaves on Saturday and Sunday. Will the appreciation translate into good business is to be seen.
