Singham Again sells 2 lakh tickets for Day 1; projected to roar past Rs. 40 cr. opening

The Rohit Shetty cop universe, Singham Again, has shown solid trends in advance bookings despite a delay in pre-sales opening. According to present trends, Singham Again has sold approximately 2 Lakh tickets across the Top 3 national chains – PVR, Inox & Cinepolis - as of Thursday at 9 PM and is headed for a final pre-sale in the zone of 2.30 lakh tickets.

Singham Again will be a heavy-on walk-in product and is looking at an opening day in the range of Rs. 35 crores to Rs. 40 crores. Being a film in the action genre, the walk-ins will be strong all across the board to give Singham Again a bumper opening and also result in career-best start for both Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty.

 

Singham Again is the most ambitious film of Rohit Shetty's cop universe and rides on a power-packed cast of Ajay Devgn, Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone and Arjun Kapoor. The film has been making the right noise since the beginning of the campaign and is now all set to explode tomorrow at the box office.
