Saiyaara to cross Rs. 100 crores in Mumbai circuit this weekend; set to surpass Sanju and Bajrangi Bhaijaan

The Mohit Suri directorial Saiyaara continues its remarkable run at the box office, especially in the Mumbai circuit - the territory that often sets the tone for a film’s nationwide performance. Closing Week 3 with a formidable Rs. 97.78 crore, the film is now just a breath away from the Rs. 100 crore milestone in the circuit, a feat expected to be achieved this coming weekend.

The achievement is significant, as Saiyaara becomes only the second film of 2025 to breach the Rs. 100 crore mark in Mumbai, after the year’s highest grosser in the circuit, Chhaava, which has collected a staggering Rs. 265.44 crores.

 

What’s more impressive is Saiyaara’s climb up the All-Time Mumbai Circuit Grossers list. The film has already moved to No. 17, surpassing the lifetime tally of Kabir Singh (Rs. 95.61 crores). Over the weekend, it is likely to leapfrog past two major blockbusters - Bajrangi Bhaijaan (Rs. 99.34 crores) and Sanju (Rs. 102.39 crores) - to secure an even stronger foothold in the rankings.

 

The film’s continued draw is fueled by excellent word-of-mouth, repeat viewership from metro audiences, and a soundtrack that has become a rage. The Mumbai circuit’s ticket prices combined with strong occupancy levels have further propelled its numbers, ensuring Saiyaara’s place among the elite performers in the region.
