China Box Office: Toilet – Ek Prem Katha collects USD 1.01 million on Day 6 in China; total collections at Rs. 84.80 cr

The Shree Narayan Singh directed film Toilet – Ek Prem Katha released a few days ago in the Chinese market. Starring Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar, the film was retitled to Toilet Hero in China. After opening on a good note the business of the film saw good growth in numbers as the days progressed. Said to be one of the widest releases for a Bollywood film has featured in China, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha has been raking in the moolah at the China box office.

Now on its sixth day at the China box office Toiler Hero has managed to draw in a further USD 1.01 million [Rs. 6.82 cr]. Though the collections of the film at the China box office have dropped considerably since its release, Toilet – Ek Prem Katha still manages to find favour among the Chinese audience. As of now, the total collections of Toilet Hero at the China box office stand at USD 12.55 million [Rs. 84.80 cr].

 

Given the current trend expectations are that the business of Toilet – Ek Prem Katha will see a jump in collections over the approaching weekend. In fact, predictions state that the business of the film is likely to cross the Rs. 100 cr mark at the China box office in the coming days.
