Box Office: Sanju becomes Rajkumar Hirani’s highest opening day grosser
Rajkumar Hirani’s latest directorial venture Sanju finally released to a thunderous response from the audience. Starring Ranbir Kapoor the film which is a biopic of Sanjay Dutt that witnessed a massive release has taken off on a high note at the box office.
In this box office report we take a look at the collections of Sanju on Day 1 while comparing the same to Rajkumar Hirani’s previous directorial ventures. Collecting Rs. 34.75 cr, Sanju has become Rajkumar Hirani’s highest opening day grosser. In fact the business of the film has managed to surpass the opening day collections of his previous directorial ventures like PK that collected Rs. 26.63 cr and 3 Idiots that collected Rs. 12.78 cr.
