Box Office: Jab Harry Met Sejal crashes by 94% in second weekend, collects Rs. 2.85 cr.

 

The Imtiaz Ali directed film Jab Harry Met Sejal released a little over a week ago. Starring Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma the film which was widely promoted took off on a sluggish note at the domestic box office. If that wasn’t enough the film which received less than appreciative reviews from critics didn’t perform much better as the days progress.Box Office: Jab Harry Met Sejal crashes by 94% in second weekend, collects Rs. 2.85 cr.

 

Now on its second weekend in theatres the collections of Jab Harry Met Sejal has seen a considerable drop. After raking in Rs. 45.75 cr on its opening weekend, the film crashed by almost 94% in its second weekend collecting just Rs. 2.85 cr. With Friday drawing in Rs. 75 lakhs, and another Rs. 1.1 cr and Rs. 1 cr coming in on Saturday and Sunday respectively, it seems like Jab Harry Met Sejal has been severely affected by the release of the Akshay Kumar starrer Toilet – Ek Prem Katha.

 

Going by the current trend, Jab Harry Met Sejal is expected to close business this week, currently all that is left to be seen is whether the film whose total collections is pegged at Rs. 62.60 cr manages to go past the Rs. 65 cr mark.
