Box Office: Dangal grosses approx. 681 crores at the worldwide box office. Will it cross the 700 crore mark?

 

After much hoopla and extensive promotions, Dangal, touted to be one of the biggest releases of 2016, hit the screens on 23rd December 2016. The film starring Aamir Khan in the lead along with debutants Sanya Malhotra and Fatima Sana Sheikh has opened to an extremely positive response not just in India but also the overseas.Box Office: Dangal grosses approx. 681 crores at the worldwide box office. Dangal had released in over 5000 screens worldwide which included 4300 screens in India and 1000 screens abroad. As per the latest reports, Dangal has grossed approx. 681.30 crores worldwide till date. It may be noted that Dangal surpassed Bajrangi Bhaijaan which had grossed approx. 629 crores worldwide.

 

Dangal has emerged as the All Time Highest Opening Weekend Grosser as well as All Time Highest grosser at the Australia and North America box office. It has also emerged as the 4th highest All Time Overseas Grosser surpassing DILWALE [25.6 mil. USD] in the overseas.
