Box Office: Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion surpasses Dangal; emerges as the All Time Highest Opening Weekend grosser at the Australia box office

 

Last week on Friday we finally saw the release of the much talked about and keenly anticipated film Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion. In the Australian market Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion has fast emerged as the highest grossing film in its opening weekend, eclipsing the previously release Aamir Khan starrer Dangal that hit screens in December 2016. In fact while Dangal grossed approx. 735,755 A$ in its opening weekend in the overseas to emerge as the All Time Highest Opening Weekend grosser at the Australia box office, Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion [Hindi version only] has managed to collect 839,323 A$ from 45 screens in its opening weekend.

 

With Baahubali 2 – The Conclusion already in the lead, all that remains to be seen in whether the film’s overall collections manage to surpass Dangal’s all time highest collections of 2.62 mil. A$ at the Australia box office
