Earlier we gave you the first quarter analysis report of Bollywood's top production houses that threw up a few surprises. Taking it further in this special report, we analyze the Box Office collections of some of the major releases in the first quarter (January - March) of 2013.

Box Office analysis of the 1st quarter of 2013

 

In this report, we categorize the films in four separate segments, viz the opening day collections, the first weekend collections, the first week collections and lifetime collections. Interestingly, from the acquired figures, Abhishek Kapoor's Kai Po Che and Remo D'Souza's ABCD featuring newcomers did better business at the Box Office than Sajid Khan's Himmatwala and Vishal Bhardwaj's Matru Ki Bijlee Ka Mandola.
