Box Office: Aamir Khan’s Dangal collects Rs. 8.95 cr in Week 5

 

The Aamir Khan starrer Dangal that was based on the life of wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat released on December 23 last year. After storming the box office and entering the Rs. 100 crore club in just three days Dangal went on a literal record smashing spree becoming one of the biggest money spinners.Box Office: Aamir Khan’s Dangal collects Rs. 8.95 cr in Week 5

 

In this special we take a look at the collections of Dangal in its fifth week at the box office. Despite new releases hitting screens, Dangal has managed to rake in more or less Rs. 1 crore a day ending week five with a total of Rs. 8.95 cr.

 

Looking at the steady rate of collections, Dangal has managed to reach close to the Rs. 385 cr prediction we had made by collecting Rs. 383.88 cr at the domestic box office till date.

Saturday - Rs. 2.1 cr.
