Kenishaa Francis, who has found herself at the centre of intense online scrutiny following reports linking her to Tamil star Jayam Ravi aka Ravi Mohan, has finally spoken out. In a series of emotional Instagram stories posted recently, Kenishaa addressed the vitriol she’s been receiving, with strong words for those targeting her with hateful, sexist, and defamatory comments.

The controversy surrounding Ravi Mohan, whose legal separation from wife Aarti Ravi is currently making headlines, has spiralled into a social media storm — with Kenishaa being subjected to an onslaught of abuse. Allegations of an alleged affair with the actor have led to followers calling her names such as “homebreaker” and “prostitute” in the comments section of her posts.
In her first Instagram story, Kenishaa declared that she would not be silenced, saying, “I will not turn off my comments and I won't run away. I have nothing to hide with nobody... Please take me to court if you're confident that I'm even a catalyst to anything that is happening around me now. I beg you take me to court! Do it rightfully!”

She further pleaded with people to understand the weight of their words, highlighting the mental and emotional toll such targeted hatred can have. “Have any of you even thought about what I'm going through with your curses, body shaming, abuses, misogyny, falsifying facts and death threats?” she wrote, calling out the deeply personal and gendered nature of the attacks.
In her second story, the actress turned spiritual, writing a heartfelt appeal in the form of a surrender to multiple deities from across faiths, including Lord Shiva, Jesus, Kali Maa, and St. Anthony. “Please hear my cry and come to help in even the slightest form. My truth be your words, Lord,” she wrote, seeking solace and support from a higher power.

Her third story carried a message of empathy and reflection. “I understand that because most of you don't know my truth and pain words like this and worse are so easy to lay upon me. I'm sorry that your assumptions about me are hurting you. I hope you can forgive me for that,” she wrote. “If I'm wrong, I'm happy to be punished by the legislation and each of you angry people. Until that day, could you please allow me to breathe a moment without hatred?”
Kenishaa’s posts come at a time when online trolling, especially against women involved in celebrity controversies, has raised serious questions about digital ethics and misogyny. While neither Jayam Ravi nor Aarti Ravi have issued statements directly addressing the speculation, the situation has intensified, with social media reactions continuing to trend.
Whether Kenishaa’s heartfelt appeal can change the tide of public perception remains to be seen — but her stance sends a powerful message about dignity, due process, and the human cost of internet hate.
