HAPPY NEW YEAR opened with approx. USD 8.1 million [approx 49.8 cr INR] in the overseas markets. This is the 2nd biggest opening for any Bollywood film with many key territories yet to open.
HAPPY NEW YEAR has got the Biggest Opening for any Bollywood film in Gulf region, Sri Lanka, South Africa and Malaysia. It also holds the record of 2nd highest opening for any Bollywood film in Pakistan, Fiji
