HALF GIRLFRIEND has collected an approx. 1.4 mil. USD [Rs. 9.09 cr.] in its opening weekend in the overseas while HINDI MEDIUM collected approx. 700k USD [Rs. 4.54 cr.] in the same period. The opening weekend for HALF GIRLFRIEND was the 5th highest of 2017 below Kaabil and above Phillauri. HINDI MEDIUM registered the 9th highest opening weekend of 2017 above Naam Shabana. Both the movies were distributed by Zee Studios International.Half Girlfriend collects 1.4 mil. USD [Rs. 9.09 crores] in overseas; Hindi Medium collects 700k USD [Rs. 4.54 cr.]
Baahubali 2 which has seen massive competition from newer releases hitting screens since its release has continued to hold strong at the North America box office. In fact despite all this, the film has now managed to cross the 20 mil. USD mark in North America, while continuing to hold the audience’s interest.
