Onir to make political thriller titled The Face

Onir's next release is the much talked about film I Am which, after garnering much appreciation at various film festivals, is releasing on April 22. However, Onir has already begun planning for his next venture which would be a political thriller set in Kashmir.

 

Confirming the same, Onir says, "Yes my next film would be a political thriller tentatively titled The Face. I have to yet finish the scripting and would be getting on with it after the release of I Am. The script is being written by me in collaboration with Binger Script Lab in Amsterdam and I plan to make a trip down there to finish the script of the film. I want the film to have a very international feel."

When asked if The Face would feature two of his favourite actors Sanjay Suri and Juhi Chawla, Onir replies, "Well, I have not yet thought about the cast as yet. I first have to finish the scripting. But I don't think Sanjay and Juhi will be a part of this film as it's a different kind of a film."

 

The Face too would be produced under Onir's banner Anticlock Films.
