OJJ : Anupam scores again:

Anupam Kher is a director to look forward to. If the songs and some talkie portions shown to the august gathering on May 27 are any indication, Kher is here to stay as a director as well. The emotional moments in the film (from whatever little we saw!) are well executed and the conflicting saga of the family catches your attention instantly. The music of the film was released at a lavish get-together on May 27 at the hands of Amitabh Bachchan. This being Kher's directorial debut, the top brass of the film industry was present in full strength to wish the actor cum director the very best. Present on the occasion were Jaya Bachchan, Amar Singh, Anil Ambani, Yash Chopra, Subhash Ghai, David Dhawan, Jeetendra, Satish Kaushik, Tutu Sharma, Madhur Bhandarkar, Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt and the principal cast of the film. Speaking on the occasion, Kher said that the efforts of the entire cast and crew were enormous. May be they worked doubly hard. For, they must've felt, agar yeh film nahin chali, to shayad main waapas Shimla na chala jaoon, he joked. Kher also added that to make a film of this magnitude you ought to have a producer with a vision and a big heart Vashu Bhagnani.
