Manoj Bajpayee and Nithya Menen join Shekhar Kapur’s Masoom 2

It is final and it is confirmed from the horse’s mouth. A while back, this writer connected with Shekhar Kapur to ask him whether his daughter Kaveri is a part of Masoom 2, and Shekhar replied in the affirmative. Shekhar also revealed the stunning cast of his proposed sequel.

Masoom 2 will star the stalwarts from the original - Shabana Azmi and Naseeruddin Shah -who will be getting together for the first time since the short film Rice Plate in 2007.

 

And that’s not all. Shekhar revealed that Manoj Bajpayee and Nithya Menen will also star in Masoom 2. For both the National Award winners, this would be the first film with Shekhar Kapur.

 

Shekhar proudly pointed out that Masoom 2 stars four National award winners: Naseer, Shabana, Manoj and Nithya.
