'Khel' On Thursday, Not Friday:

The makers of KHEL, Popcorn Entertainment, have decided to release the film worldwide on a Thursday, instead of the practice of releasing the film on Fridays. Yes, the film will hit the screens on October 2, not on October 3, as decided earlier. Reason? "October 2 happens to be Gandhi Jayanti [Mahatma Gandhi's birth anniversary] and it's a holiday in India. So why not avail of this holiday and have a 4-day weekend, instead of a 3-day weekend?," Prakash Khubchandani of Popcorn tells me. Incidentally, the producers have flooded the market with talkie and song-based promos of the film, which have met with a tremendous response.
