Alia Bhatt to sing 'Samjhawan Unplugged' for HSKD

After her much successful singing debut in Highway, Alia plans to take her singing career forward by singing for her upcoming film too. The actress who will be seen in the next Dharma Productions' romantic comedy Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania, is all set to lend her voice once again for the famous track 'Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki' from the film.

 

While the song in the film is sung by Arijit Singh and Shreya Ghoshal, Alia's version will be titled 'Samjhawan Unplugged'. The song is slated to release this weekend online.

'Main Tenu Samjhawan Ki' itself is a remake of the song titled by the same name which was originally sung by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan for the Punjabi film Virsa.

 

Directed by Shashank Khaitan, Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania also stars Varun Dhawan along with Siddharth Shukla and Ashutosh Rana among others and is slated to release on July 11.
