Singer-songwriter and actor Guru Randhawa has released his new Punjabi single, ‘So What’, featuring Anjini Dhawan in the music video. Released by Saregama, the track is available across major streaming platforms and brings together a high-tempo musical arrangement, Punjabi lyrics and a visual setting centred on the Sambhar Lake desert.
The music video moves away from conventional studio-style sets, using the landscape of Sambhar Lake to establish a grunge-inspired visual aesthetic. Anjini Dhawan features alongside Guru Randhawa, with the video incorporating choreography and a series of stylised sequences. The makers have also highlighted a hook step as one of the track’s key visual elements.
‘So What’ is performed by Guru Randhawa, Kiran Bajwa, Rony Ajnali and Shevv. The lyrics have been written by Guru Randhawa, Gill Machhrai and Rony Ajnali, while the composition is credited to Guru Randhawa, Gill Machhrai, Rony Ajnali and Shevv. The song centres on an attitude of carefree confidence, using the phrase ‘So What’ as its recurring refrain.
Speaking about the release, Guru Randhawa said, "I always strive to deliver something unexpected with every release. Anjini Dhawan also spoke about her experience working on the music video, describing the shoot as a memorable experience shaped by the location and the people involved.

With ‘So What’, Guru Randhawa adds another Punjabi pop release to his recent musical slate. The collaboration brings together the singer’s performance and songwriting credits with Anjini Dhawan’s appearance in a video that places the track’s choreography and visual setting at the centre of its presentation.
