Ranbir Kapoor, Yash, Sai Pallavi, Rakul Preet Singh, Ravie Dubey, producer Namit Malhotra, director Nitesh Tiwari and Andhra Pradesh-Telangana distributor Dil Raju attended the grand pre-release event of Ramayana in Hyderabad. Ranbir won hearts with his heartfelt words about his co-stars and spoke highly of their performances and dedication.
Ranbir Kapoor said, “I know all of you guys love Rakul, but you haven’t seen Rakul till you have seen her performance in this film. I have seen this film many times. She’s going to surprise you. It's just amazing. So, please watch out for her portrayal in this film.”
He added, “To my partners in crime, Ravi and Sai! We have spent the entire film together. There has not been one film where we have been separated. It is truly an honour and pleasure to be a part of this film with you both and to have this acting partnership. Ravi, I am not just saying this because it's time for everyone to say nice things. But if I ever had a brother, I really hope and pray it would be exactly like you! Your talent is unmatched and I can’t wait for the world to see it.”
Speaking about Sai Pallavi, he said, “The first day when you came on set, we saw the divinity, we saw Sita Maa and you have brought that onto this film. Nobody else on this film has brought divinity the way you have. So, thank you so much for your energy and talent.”
Lastly, he praised Yash, saying, “He’s such a big family man. To leave his family and his kids, to be away from his city, to work tirelessly for his film Toxic and for our film Ramayana was not easy. Honestly, I haven’t seen anyone work as hard as him. Please give a huge round of applause for Rocking Star Yash. There’s nobody like him and there’ll be nobody like him.”
Ramayana releases in cinemas worldwide on November 5.
