Actress Krishna Gautam is on a roll at present. After winning praise for her performance of a possessed girl in Ram Gopal Varma’s 12 O’Clock (2021), she is now enjoying the success of her music channel, XYZ Music. As 12 O’Clock continues to fetch good viewership on digital, Gautam exclusively opened up about her experience on the project.
The horror film also starred Mithun Chakraborty, Dalip Tahil, Makrand Deshpande, Flora Saini and Manav Kaul.
Gautam said, “One of the things I admired the most about Ram Gopal Varma sir was how humble and patient he was on set. He never believed in putting unnecessary pressure on his actors. If he felt a performance wasn’t working on a particular day, he would simply cancel that shoot and reschedule it for the next day, giving the actor time to prepare rather than forcing the scene.”
She further stated, “What amazed me even more was that he would personally enact the dialogues, record them, and show the videos to the actors so they could understand the emotions, expressions, and his vision for the scene. It was such a thoughtful way of guiding us, and it made the entire process so much easier. His calm nature and genuine dedication to bringing out the best in every actor made working with him a truly enriching experience.”
Meanwhile, XYZ Music is gaining attention for its music videos and melodies. Three of their songs have already crossed more than 1 million views, with ‘O Janeja’, featuring Krishna Gautam and Freddy Daruwala, and ‘Me & You’, featuring Krishna Gautam and Toofan Singh Gill, each fetching 2 million views.
