The Akshay Kumar and Priyadarshan reunion on Bhooth Bangla is making the right noise ahead of its release. While the early reports flowing in seem to be on the positive side, we are bringing in an exclusive report on the advance booking of this horror comedy. As of Wednesday at 5 PM, Bhooth Bangla has sold around 21,000 tickets across the Top 2 national chains - PVR Inox and Cinepolis.

Of this, around 11,000 tickets are sold for the limited previews on Thursday, and the remaining 10,000 tickets have gone for the opening day. The film is looking at a final pre-sale around the 60,000 ticket mark. Based on the trends so far, Bhooth Bangla is set to register an opening around the Rs. 15 crores to Rs. 17 crores mark.
If audience word of mouth lands in its favour, the horror comedy will see an upward trend over the weekend and hit the Rs. 55 crore mark in 3 days flat. The film is seeing pretty decent momentum in advance bookings, and the eyes are now on the reports post the release tomorrow. The paid previews are tracking around the Rs 2 crore mark, whereas the first day could be anywhere in the vicinity of Rs 15 crore.
The film is seeing a wide release all across, and the advances will gain more traction once full-fledged sales open by the end of today.
