It is RRR and only RRR right now, what with the film continuing to rock the show big time at the box office. This was evidenced on the second Friday when the collections went up over the Rs. 12 cr mark that it reached on Thursday. What happened was totally unthinkable as the collections soared to Rs. 13.50 crores and that’s simply superb as the film is playing in a much bigger league now despite a marginal reduction in screens and shows.
With Attack - Part 1 being the new release of the week, one would have expected RRR (Hindi) to go down at least by a couple of crores and that would have been perfectly normal. However, on the contrary the collections went up and it was Attack - Part 1 that was impacted, just like Bachchan Pandey was due to The Kashmir Files wave a couple of weeks back.
RRR (Hindi) is now standing at Rs. 146.09 crores. In fact by the time you read this, the film would have already crossed the Rs. 150 crores milestone and that too in just a little over eight and a half days. As for The Kashmir Files, it is now bringing numbers on the lower side, though even that’s an added bonus.
