Preity Zinta celebrated her 43rd birthday with pomp last night after her old industry buddies Salman Khan and Bobby Deol planned a surprise party for her. Zinta was joined in by Iulia Vantur, Sonakshi Sinha, Race 3 makers Ramesh Taurani and Remo D’Souza. Elated, she took to Instagram to post a picture of the bash with a sweet message for her friends. She wrote, “Thank you all for all the wonderful birthday wishes. So humbled and so touched by all the good wishes. Loads of love! Muaah #aboutlastnight #unplannedgettogether #friendsforever!”
Preity was last seen with Saif Ali Khan in a cameo in Happy Endings. She will now be seen with Sunny Deol and Ameesha Patel in Bhaiyyaji Superhitt after a long hiatus. A reigning actress of 90s she has given many a blockbuster with Salman Khan, Bobby and Sunny Deol. Few of her memorable films with Salman include: Har Dil Jo Pyar Karega..., Chori Chori Chupke Chupke, Jaan-E-Mann and Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa. She also did a cameo in a song sequence for Khan’s Main Aurr Mrs Khanna. With Bobby she has done films like Soldier and Heroes and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom It would be interesting to see the diva light up the 70mm screen with her million dollar smile, once again.
Preity has been in the news recently as she made her presence felt at the IPL Auctions organised a few days ago. For those who don’t know, she married her long-time boyfriend Gene Goodenough in a private ceremony in 2016 followed by a grand reception in Mumbai for her industry friends.
