Parineeti in her Falguni and Shane Peacock black bodycon at the IIFA Rocks Green carpet was a nightmare. Wearing her hair down with a headband, she finished off her look with orange lips and black pumps. Figure-hugging dresses serve the purpose of revealing your curves, whereas Pareenti's outfit flattened hers.
To put it in sweet words, the piece made the gorgeous actress look dull.
Vidya made her way for the IIFA Green carpet in a black lehenga sari with gold borders and matching gold earrings. Not a bad look, but a usual one, since we anticipated her to show up in her accustomed sari with either a braid or a bun. And she never lets us down!
We would have been more than happy to see this diva ditch the sari for once at least, that's not more to ask.
We were really excited to see what Sridevi has to bring to the Green carpet, but she let us down in her off-shoulder. Although teal is a refreshing shade but the ruffles on the bodice are a no-no! The cleavage exposing gown made her look top-heavy and the up do, made it even more visible.
If only we had a crown for looking awful, we'd give it to Minissha for donning the most unflattering attire of all time on the IIFA Green Carpet. The Ayesha Depala gown is too bold and dark with a lot going on; column floor-length one-shoulder with floral designs, sequins, tulle etc. And to make things worse is the OTT make-up.
We were expecting fiascos from the ladies, since men generally play it safe with their black suits and bow ties but Abhishek cleared our misconception! Talking about pink suit-coats, very few men manage to pull it off, since it's all about the skin tone. Pink can either make you look your best or plainly worse, there's no hanging in the middle. And even if you manage to carry the color well, pairing it with faded jeans will definitely goof up your look.
And so our advice for Mr. Bachchan is to steer clear of that color and that coat.
