It’s Diwali day and the festival is being celebrated with full pomp and show around the world. The festival of lights is all about love, joy and positivity. After two years, celebrities are throwing big parties in order to celebrate Diwali with their friends and industry colleagues. Karan Johar on Sunday hosted an office puja which saw several Dharma Productions’ artists attend the ceremony.

Karan Johar was all decked up in a printed pink kurta and pyjama and twinned with his twin kids – Roohi and Yash. He also posed with his mother Hiroo Johar.

He wrote on Instagram, “May this year be filled with dhamaka of entertainment, love & light! A very happy diwali to you and your family from my Dharma family!”

In photos shared by the celebrities who attended the puja, one sees Mr and Mrs. Mahi duo Janhvi Kapoor, and Rajkummar Rao posing with their director Sharan Sharma. Dharma Productions’ CEO Apoorva Mehta shared photos with Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani, Shanaya Kapoor and Ananya Panday. Designer Manish Malhotra was also in attendance. Bedhadak stars Lakshya Lalwani and Gurfateh Pirzada, Neha Dhupia, Angad Bedi, and Ibrahim Ali Khan were also present at the puja.

Karan Johar recently wrapped up season 7 of Koffee With Karan which aired on Disney+ Hotstar. The new season saw several new pairs on the couch as the show came to an end with 12 episodes and a special award season episode. The show is set to return next year.

On the professional front, Karan Johar’s next directorial is Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film is slated for a 2023 release. The filmmaker is also planning to direct an action entertainer with hopes to kick off the shoot in April 2023.
