Yash's much-awaited pan-India film Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is set to arrive in theatres on August 26. Ahead of its release, filmmaker Siddharth Anand has revealed that he has booked tickets for the film's first-day-first-show, expressing his excitement about watching Yash on the big screen.
The War director took to X on Monday to share his anticipation for the Geetu Mohandas directorial. He said the experience of entering a theatre without knowing what to expect was particularly exciting for him.

Siddharth's comments come just days before Toxic reaches cinemas after a prolonged wait. The film has generated considerable anticipation through its posters, promotional material and trailers, with Yash returning to the big screen after the success of KGF: Chapter 2.

Siddharth Anand's comments on Toxic also come shortly after he reacted to a social media post discussing the box office performance of several recent Telugu films featuring major stars.
The post listed films including NTR Jr's Devara, Pawan Kalyan's They Call Him OG, Vijay Deverakonda's Kingdom, Ram Charan's Peddi, Prabhas' The Raja Saab, Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram and Nandamuri Balakrishna's Daaku Maharaj, with the word "flop" mentioned alongside the titles. Siddharth responded to the post with a brief "Oops."
Written by Yash and Geetu Mohandas and directed by Mohandas, Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups features Yash in the lead role. The ensemble cast includes Kiara Advani, Nayanthara, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria.
The film is positioned as a pan-India release and is expected to open across multiple language markets. Its August 26 release date puts it among the major theatrical releases of the month.
