EXCLUSIVE: Jr NTR on his introduction scene in RRR- “SS Rajamouli gave me a lot of detailing for the Tiger scene” : Bollywood News

It has been six days since the SS. Rajamouli’s most anticipated magnum opus RRR hit the big screen. The film is currently shattering all the possible box-office records. The film has by now minted over Rs 600 crores and is currently marching towards 700 crores.

In a recent interview of RRR star Jr NTR with Bollywood Hungama, he talked about how his latest release is doing better than films like The Batman at the box office. While talking about the right use of VFX in the film, Jr NTR said, “While shooting for a particular scene which involved a tiger, we were tired of retaking it so we suggested to SS Rajamouli use CGI. Instead, the filmmaker sternly asked if we think it is easy.”

Jr NTR later added that the filmmaker of RRR does not use VFX or CGI because he has money or the budget but because he knows ‘Where’, ‘how’ and ‘why’ to use it and that is a talent. "It is very important to know how you make use of computer graphics. Especially when the tiger intro was happening, SS Rajamouli gave me so much detailing," the actor said. The director explained to the actor the size, agility, and weight of a tiger and how he must react accordingly.

Currently, RRR is at the number one spot in the world’s box office by beating The Batman and several other Hollywood blockbusters. If the movie manages the same momentum for another 4 days, the film will enter the Rs 1000 crore club shattering most of the box-office records during its theatrical run.
