The Raj Mehta directorial Jugjugg Jeeyo was released last week on Friday across 3375+ screens in the domestic market and a further 1014 screens overseas. Starring Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Anil Kapoor, and Neetu Kapoor the film featured immense promotion and hype in the run upto its release. Thanks to the promotions, and the wide screen count, advance bookings for Jugjugg Jeeyo displayed a highly positive trend, which coupled with good reviews boosted the business of the film.
While in the domestic market Jugjugg Jeeyo has been doing well, in this box office report we take a look at the business of the film in the overseas markets. Not surprisingly, performing in a similar fashion, Jugjugg Jeeyo has done well in the overseas markets managing to draw in USD 2.2 million [Rs. 17.26 cr.] in its opening weekend.
