Box Office: Veere Di Wedding has a good hold on Monday, brings in Rs. 6.04 crore :Bollywood Box Office

As expected, Veere Di Wedding held well on Monday too. The film has urban centres as its prime market and this is where it is doing its best business as well. For Monday to be good, the need of the hour was for women folks to warm up to the film, especially during the morning and afternoon shows. This is exactly what happened as the word of mouth has caught up well in this segment and there are bunch of women ganging up to step into theatres.

This was evidenced on Monday when Rs. 6.04 crore more came in. Though this may seem like a drop from the Friday collections of Rs. 10.70 crore, it is strictly on a relative note. Reason being that even in the best case scenario this was the number expected on Friday and for the Shashanka Ghosh directed film to manage this mark on Monday, it is quite good on an absolute note.

The film has collected Rs. 42.56 crore so far and a number in the vicinity of Rs. 55 crore is pretty much on the cards once the first week is through. Had that been the lifetime total of the Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania starrer, it would still had been good. However, Veere Di Wedding would go much beyond that, hence making it a quick-fire successful outing for all involved.
