The Shoojit Sircar directed film October released a week ago. Released across 1683 screens in the domestic market the film starring Varun Dhawan took off on a sluggish note. However, the business of the film witnessed good growth in collections over its opening weekend. Now after its first week in theatres, October has managed to decently well even on weekdays.

However, with October still running expectations are that the business of the film will go past the Rs. 40 cr mark in the coming days.
