The movie starts off with introductions of Paresh Rawal(Dr.Ghungroo), Nana Patekar(Uday Shetty)and Akshaye Kumar(Rajiv) and tells us about each persons faults and ambitions in life. Rajiv hasn't been able to tie the knot, thanks to overprotective Mama Dr.Ghungroo. After rejecting 500+ proposals with his own way of finding out a 'Shareef Khandaan' only to fall in love with prankster Sanjana, Don Uday Shetty's sister. Lack of knowledge convulates the matter. Will they tie the knot amidst the chaos?

crap of a movie with classic comedies like golmal, chupke chupke, andaaz apna apna. Bollywood grow up!!
The movie was banal enough to get a good sleep in the movie hall. Fabulous actors like Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor wasted to the fullest extent.
I ardently want to give some more strident comments, but I will stop here.

This is a paisa-wasool movie. Go with an idea of watching a david dhawan flick (I know this one is an Anees Bazmee movie) because it reminds of his hey days. Anees Bazmee(the director) is yet again in form but not as pristinely as in No-Entry.
Akshay and Paresh Rawal are funny but nothing different from their earlier ones. Plus they are not the real show-stealers; You shall be swayed by Nana Patekar and Anil Kapoor combo, right off your feet.
The dialogues of Anil kapoor (as majnoo bhai) really applause-worthy and Nana's face is enough to bring you into splits.
The movie is a no-brain-all-masala movie: so expect lots of laughter with eye candy(malaika, mallika, katrina) presence of the ladies.
One song worthy of watch in the movie is - kiya kiya track; others are all misplaced and don't go with the pace of the story.
The movie is one-time watch; and a paisa-wasool at that.

Those who have rated WELCOME below 4 in my opinion have a lack in sense of humor. The first half was not all that but the second half was hilarious all the way. Anil Kapoor, Nana, Paresh, Akshay all do their roles Flawlessley. This is real entertainer. Even after a few weeks of its release the hall was packed and everyone was just in stitches. A complete enetertainer. MUST WATCH!

Well i always thought Taran was biased.. and this just proves me right. This movie was rediculous, it's the kind of movie you would never be able to watch again. It was way too over the top and just braincell killing. Ok, now people are probably going to get mad, but the truth is that the best thing about this movie was definately NOT Katrina Kaif or Akshay; it was the Nana-Anil pairing and ofcourse the M.A.N love triangle (Mallika, Anil and Nana). I really thought the jokes (if that's wht u call them) were repetitive and not entertaining. Akshay was alright, but after watching Bhool Bhulaiya and Namastey London I had really high expectations, which seriously crashed. I have no personal problems with Katrina Kaif but she cannot lip sing, she cannot dance and she cannot emote so well, so I didn't expect anyting from her. Surprisingly, Mallika was good and she looked great! Feroz Khan, *sigh*, this man needs to learn that he's old and that talking really slowly and making signs as if he's talking to a deaf person will not make him look good. Paresh and the rest were great. The performances that really stood out were Nana and Anil's.
