Wanted definitely has to be amongst the most awaited flicks of 2009. It’s definitely awaited by not only fans but by the trade. Some trade members have even declared that it should be the Ghajini of 2009. Plus, along with SRK, Salman Khan tends to have excellent soundtracks. Tere Naam, Baghban, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Lucky, Maine Pyar Kyun Kiya, Kyon Ki, Jaan-E-Mann, Baabul, Salaam-E-Ishq, Partner, and Yuuvraaj are proof of this statement. Hence, the soundtrack of Wanted will have to be something special. Going by the promos, you expect Wanted to be a massy soundtrack. Is it? Please read further. Love Me Love Me is a chartbuster from the work GO. The song has met with huge response from the promos, and listening to the actual song makes it better. It should be a great dance number, and judging by the promos, Salman Khan and Ayesha Takia are rocking with the dance moves. This song is a complete winner. Rating: 4.5/5 Overall: Chartbuster from the word GO Its been a long time I heard a Kamaal Khan song. I’ll admit that I didn’t like Ishq Vishq when the promos hit TV, but after listening it, I enjoy it. It’s a great song nonetheless. The picturization of the song is great, and Salman Khan is looking great, while Ayesha is always beautiful. Give the song a chance, it’s worth a listen. Rating: 4/5 Overall: Great song, it’s a Hit in my books Le Le Mazaa Le is definitely the weakest song in Wanted. But it should be interesting on screen as to who will dance this Latin type number. Should be better on screen, but from what I hear, its disappointing. Rumour has it that Prabhu Deva will make a dance appearance in this song, which will add a little appeal to the song. Rating: 2.5/5 Overall: So far, the worst song in Wanted, but should be better on screen. Jalwa is not a bad song, little bit disappointed by it. Salman Khan dance moves should become a rage based on the small clip from the promos. Sajid-Wajid must be given benefit of the doubt for making this song rocking with the beats provided. Once again, it will be looking great on the promos and on-screen. Expect this number to be great once the promos are unleashed, and also young youths to dance to this peppy number Rating: 3.25/5 Overall: Above Average song, but should be a huge Hit once promos hit. Tose Pyar will be LOVED by the masses, and I smell a huge winner with this song. It’s definitely amongst my favourite songs in Wanted. I’m not surprised if people in the single screens or the masses dance to this song while the film is being watched in theatres. I’m hoping that the dancing and picturization will be great, to make this number a huge chartbuster. Rating: 4.5/5 Overall: CHARTBUSTER all the way After getting pure massy numbers, Dil Leke comes as a change, and Dil Leke is for the die-hard romantic fans. However, it’s amongst the best songs in Wanted. The vocals from the singers are great, and it will be a treat on screen. The song takes you back to the romantic songs from the 80s. Rating: 4.5/5 Overall: Super-Hit And now, amongst the most-awaited tracks of Wanted, is the Most Wanted Track, mainly because Salman Khan will provide vocals after a long time. He, however, provides less vocals, but saying more dialogues. But, the song is high on beats, and this is an excellent promotion song that should be unleashed two weeks prior to the film releases. It should be great to see this promotion track, along with some action sequences. Rating: 3.5/5 Overall: Good, but could’ve been a lot better Overall Average: 3.82/5 My Overall Rating: 4/5 Wanted is definitely a great soundtrack either way you look at it. Those who were expecting another Partner, will be slightly disappointed. The great thing about Wanted is the variety of songs Love Songs – Dil Leke, Ishq Vishq Dance Tracks – Love Me Love Me Mass Numbers – Tose Pyar Latin Type – Le Le Mazaa Le Rocking Number – Most Wanted Track Youth Song – Jalwa I think, you have to give Wanted multiple listens to enjoy the songs. I give Sajid-Wajid recognition for trying something new, and they succeed. An album like Wanted is what we should see more from Sajid-Wajid, variety of songs. Only Le Le Mazaa Le was the weakest song in Wanted (every soundtrack has their weak song). Albums like Dhoom 2, Welcome, Chak De India weren’t liked at first listen, but picked up after promos were unleashed, and the picturization on screen. And I believe with the picturization on screen, Wanted soundtrack will be great. Wanted is another feather in the cap for Salman Khan to have great soundtracks. Expect Wanted to be wanted on the music stands in soon future. Its great to see that after great soundtracks like Kaminey and Love Aaj Kal, Wanted is joining the list, and will give both soundtracks a run for their money. Wanted soundtrack is definitely wanted, which makes the film more wanted to see on September 18. Overall: Definitely worth the CD

Luvely songs...the songs are catchy...nice job once again by Sajid-Wajid...!!! Most of the songs are funky with one soulful song - Dil Leke and Shaan is the perfect guy for it...!!! Kamal Khan does well too with Ishq Vishq...Jalwa is nicely composed...Tose Pyaar Karte Hain has wonderful lyrics and has nice beats...Le Le Mazaa Le gives you a Mayya Mayya for Guru kind of an Arabic feel...Love Me Love Me resembles to You're My Love from Partner...Wajid gives it justice...And finally last but not the least...Most Wanted Track gives you the hint and idea about the serious role portrayed by Salman Khan with some powerful dialouges which will bring the whistles and cheers back to the theatres...!!!
