The much awaited Salman Khan’s movie, Veer is all about battles, swords, bravery, drama, love and treachery. It is an epic film set in 1825, when the Britishers were ruling India. All the kings and nawabs bow down to the Britishers, but not the Pindaris. Pindaris fight till their last breath to save their land - their mother. Salman Khan plays the role of Veer, who is the bravest, toughest and strongest of the Pindaris. At one point of time, he has a decision to make. He has to choose between his true love and his call of duty. What does Veer choose? Zarine Khan plays the role of Princess Yashodhara, who is Jackie Shroff’s daughter (Raja of Madhavgarh) who is deeply in love with Veer. The Raja had cheated the Pindaris to please the British and had lost his arm. Purya, Veer’s younger brother’s role is played by Sohail Khan. He follows Veer like a shadow. He loves to flirt, but loves to fight even more. Mithun dada plays the role of Prithvi Singh, the proud leader of the Pindaris. A must watch movie.
