First, i would like to clear something...i am not a fan of Salman Khan in General. No VEER is a movie that drives on a few facts : 1. All expectations are met by die hard Salman Khan fans.
2. The glamour and the cinematography is done very well.
3. There are a few loopholes in the story but that does not mean we forget that a new actress was introduced with such grace and detailing was kept in mind regarding hard facts in History. Mr. Taran Adarsh is somehow confused as he compares two different genres indirectly 3 idiots and VEER, both different and unique. I should also point out that it is not the critics that decide the fate of a movie but the audience.
VEER is a repeat audience movie. I give it 3 stars

If you truly LOVE INDIA, you must like VEER. A well made Movie, action, romantic scences ans songs are superb. It is not a common movie where every time we see boys after girls, there is love but the love is a challenge.
Salman did one of his finest job.
There are lots of fights but it s a war of intelligent. It is very patriotism. It shows how Indian betrayed Indian. How our ancestors had been suffered. I repeat if you are a true INDIAN, go and watch VEER.

First off - This movie proves that truly Salman khan has too many fans - because the avg rating (user) is arounf 4/5 and simply thats a little too high for this movie. Now, the movie was not a bad movie compared to movies that have been out recently such as Dulha Mil Gaya and Radio - omg they were soo bad. But this movie had soo much hype and promise around it that it dissapoints the audience too much. Movie begins by telling us that 20 years back Jackie Shroff (Raja of Madhavghar) betrayed the Pendaris lead by Mithunda and this caused many of them to lose their lives. This sets the story as the Pendaris want revenge on jackie plus want the rule of the British out of their lands --- 20 years later now Veer (Mithun's son) is old and he sends his son to learn how the British operate and how they plan to get rid of their people. At the same time -- Veer meets Yashodha (Zarine Khan) --- Aside - why would you cast her seriously -- i just do not get it - before the movie i thought that maybe she is British so that makes sense but shes Indian - cmon they couldve just have gotten anyone that can act better than her -- she was so mediocre --- Katrina would have been perfect for this role in my opinion (has nothing to do with Sallu-Kat pairing) Back to the movie so eventually they both fall in love - some things happen and in the end Veer ends up freeing his land ..... Yeh its quite boring. The British are shown as weak, ill mannered and completely sterrotypical figures -- i was quite dissapointed. Veer -- i dnt know if he is a human or some sort of animal but he is just too strong probably even stronger than the real Spartans -- his fight scenes are insanely fake but that shows why this is a true Bollywood movie --- SO basically this movie isnt too bad but we have seen similar things before and it doesnt bring out anything fresh. Do watch this if you are a Salman fan - 2.5/5
