I liked it! Okay, the script could have been better, trimmed a little, the characters could have been a litlle more fleshed out (but they also aren't in Love, actually!, although I disagree with Mr. Adarsh, I think SEI is only loosely inspired by that film, the stories are quite different). A film with so many stories can only show snapshots. It is a long film, but I wasn't bored, I thought it was pretty funny, sometimes touching, the music, which I already liked before seeing the film gets even better in the context of the film, 2 mass dance scenes are wonderfully colourful - I felt well entertained and my favourite storyline was the one with Govinda.The Anil Kapoor/Juhi Chawla episode doesn't make clear, why he is actually having his midlife crisis and the script puts some very cringeworthy, backward lines in Juhis mouth, that annoyed me. But all in all it's a fun movie, go watch it!

I would not say this movie is "bad" but I will say that the director is little retarded in my opinion. He might have thought making a huge star cast list would take the movie to a next level but it ain't happening. I loved the music so much plus the promos and all but 3:30 hrs of goddam boring stories will kill me, seriously! And, yes I would recommend this movie to my friends just because to let them see/know pretending to be at the top will sink you. Haha.

i went to the cinema with mixed feelings tonight after reading a few reviews this noon.
but it is not boring or too long.
actually u dont realize that its so long, since u keep on being interested about the going ons.
the best thing about the movie is Govinda.
it is so nice to see him acting well after the Bhagam Bhag sidekick.here he is his old self.
Anil Kapoor also acts well.
So does Vidya Balan.
Salman sleepwalks through his part.
The best story is the one with John Abraham, but i wish he could act better.
Akshaye Khanna is so so.
Background score is pretty good.

Just came back after watching the evening show....So for all you curious guys the movie is worth a dekho.....I saw some extreme reviews on indiafm however when i was in the cinema hall i thought everyone was enjoying the movie... Clearly its not a movie which is cut out for masses....its clearly for multiplexes...its about identifying and perceiving the movie in the right way....there are no heavy dialogues like yash raj films.....

Couldn’t agree more with Taran Adarsh from IndiaFM - Salman is too fake, and Priyanka Hams during special premiere of the movie yesterday. Nikhil definitely faltered this time due to bad story telling and worst editing - three and half hours excluding commercial breaks. Out of six stories running in parallel, only John-Vidya track seems to be completely justified, while remaining five are not at all well defined at the script level itself. Too many cooks spoils the broth.
