Taran Sir...Once i read somewhere, that u review a movie - as u see it from a common man's eyes.... What is it that u saw in Salaam-e-ishq, that u rated it so badly..Myself, as a common man, enjoyed the movie thoroughly.And so did the hundreds of people in the theatre..Infact the people dint leave the hall, till the last scene.Length is never a problem..untill the film is enjoyable..i have a request for Nikhil Advani - Please include the song "mera dil"...People will love it.. As i was talking abt length, look at Eklavya - 1hrs 50 Min long and yet i felt i was in theatre for 3 hrs...Wat was the msg???

salaam e ishq was an excellent movie...yeah, so what if it was 3 1/2 hours? Those 3 1/2 hours were completely worth it to me! Everyone acted really well and the story was put together really well! The first half was all comedy and really entertaining...and the second half really touched my heart. SALAAM E ISHQ...worth watching!!!

The movie is put together well, Tran has over looked the film too much. priyanka Chopra cted bad, because she was suppose to, and I think all the stories were good. Nikhil shouldn't have taken out Mera Dil, becasue it added to the marvel f the story, and it took out too many scenes. Over allt he movie is AWESOME and I recomend it to all, except of childeren under 12.

I liked the movie a lot.Ony salmaan khan irritates as lot as his acting is not bearable. But Akshay khanna is the character that reflects every youngster who actually dont know that he want to marry or not. In summary view is complete time pass and full of entertainment. Atleast you dont waste your money once you go movie to watch it.The feelign expressed by john abhrahmin for vidya balin is amazing that depicts a true love

At times I feel outraged at how Taran Adarsh can get so biased and pessimistic over a film. I liked the movie through and through. Well, ok it's a bit long but we all go to the cine to watch films and it doesn't matter if it's a bit longer than usual since the film is about not 1 but 6 couples. Music is at its best: hats off to Shankar Ehsaan Loy once again, these chaps are pure geniuses. You don't get bored for even a sec during the movie, Salaam-E-Ishq can make u laugh and cry as well. THis is the beauty of it, after long we got a film which gives you the feel of KKHH and K3G. Folks out there, DON'T listen to Taran, go watch this movie.

Salaam-e-Ishq is the best movie i've ever watched.All those who have written off the movie are nuthin but jerks.To be frank,i never realised how time passed.Yes,there were some unrequired scenes,but which movie has been perfect? Many people have watched the movie with negative expectations after reading the reviews,thus not liking it.Believe me,review ko maaro goli and watch the movie with an open mind.You'll like it.Why,even DON was written off,but it managed hit business,because people disregarded the reviews.

What happens when an engineering student chooses a topic worth 2 PHd. dissertations for his engineering project ? The result resembles the product being reviewd - salam -e- ishq. Director Nikhil Advani’s much hyped attempt is no doubt inspired by the 2003 Richard Curtis directed ‘Love Actually’ but while that film made numerous records, Salam-e-ishq isnt even worth watching. The editing in particular is too horrible, even by bollywood standards. But then again, the editor had to shorten a torturously long film otherwise the length would exceed well over 4 hours. The first half may seem pretty watchable, thanks to some excellent screen play. But again the director jus about concludes the task of introduction to the 6 couples. In the latter half your bound to lose track of how and when things go wrong and all the mega-boring drama does get you thinking ‘damn what time is it? I’m not sure if I can take this for much longer’ Not a flick for someone whose getting used to the quality of bollywood lately. Salman and Priyanka in particular don't do their fans any favors. Salman's role, and his execution of the role doesn't really reflect that the man's been in the industry for well over 15 years. Like Curtis said for Love Actually in response to critics, “I’d rather make a film that most of the audience liked and some critics didn’t, than a film that critics loved and nobody wanted to watch.” Indian women addicted to them horrible Indian never ending soaps might jus love this flick, but for people like me who appreciate a flick like ‘Ek Haseena Thi’ or ‘Karam’ over the more hyped ones like ‘Kabhi Alwida Na Kehna’ , don’t even think about watching this one you won’t last 3 hours. I didn’t ! The Verdict : MEGA-FLOP, KEEP AWAY!
