Akshay Kumar is back !Rowdy Rathore has all the trappings of a masala entertainer like 'Wanted' , 'Ready' and 'Bodyguard'. Rowdy Rathore is remake of a South Film 'Vikramarkudu'. Masala entertainers like Rowdy Rathore dont have much of a story but its the screenplay which entertains the audience. Rowdy Rathore has a simple story but is the screenplay entertaining ? the first half is strictly average but the second half is superb.each and every scene in the second hour is clapworthy. barring a few entertaining scenes , the first half doesn't have quite much to offer ! but the second half is a full fun filled ride !
dialogues are clapworthy ! action is thoroughly enjoyable. its a treat to watch Akshay kumar perform those action scenes.music is good ! cinematography is first-rate ! direction by Prabhudeva is excellent. his formula is to entertain and he does his job well ! although Wanted still ranks as his better work ! Rowdy Rathore belongs to Akshay Kumar. the actor is thoroughly entertaining and gives in a full paisa vasool performance.his comic timing is superb !
Sonakshi Sinha gives in a sincere performance ! she is sidelined in the second half ! Nassar is terrfiying ! Yashpal Sharma is first-rate ! Ananya Nayak is good ! the rest of the cast lends good support !
overall , ROWDY RATHORE is a good entertainer with a superb second half and paisa vasool performance of Akshay Kumar !
