Rock on is a movie about 4 friends who plan to storm the music scenes with their band 'Magic'. How the band breaks up, the members start living a normal life, fight their inner demons and realise their dream of an electrifying stage performance forms the crux of the story.
The movie is very good. A nice theme without too many sub plots. The music is excellent and accentuates the effects of the film. Socha Hai track in the beginning lays down a strong foundation and the culmination to the story couldn't have been better.
Farhan Akhtar shines in an author-backed role. An actor to look out for. Prachi Desai supports him ably. Arjun Rampal too gives a decent performance. Pruab Kohli and Luke Kenny are Excellent.
The movie highlights beautifully the bonding between friends and at the same time encourages people never to let go of their dreams. Highly recommended movie.
