Fantastic movie....Such a different plot still entertaining to the fullest....SRK rocks bigtime, his acting as Surinder Sahni is over the top....Anushka excels though its her debut film...songs are fabulous..."Haule haule" is a masterpiece allover...I would love to watch it again n again...thanks Aditya Chopra....And people should stop comparing this film with DDLJ and Mohabbattein....Try to enjoy as Rab ne bana di jodi!!!

yash raj films ! what is a yash raj films, Yash chopra, aditya chopra, a good movie, a good direction, a good performance, a good music, a very good story, and screen play, a complete entertainer!!! yes, this movie is a entertainer if you dont visualise if you are watching a yash raj film, like a title its an ordinary film with extra ordinary direction, and performance, but let me admit here this time adi was running on a very thin story line, but it was his capability of good direction he pulls out very nicely, and delivers a good entertainer. and he really pulls out very good performances from sharukh , he was really good, but in his formal look i personally feel he was too formal, and very sidha sadda guy like him cqn makeover overnightly comletely astylish modern guy its hard to belive but its a movie, as i said director has done it very convincinly,a new heroin anushka was also good , for a first movie she was very confident, and very positive for her role, she gives good performance. what i see here is in yash raj film this time they are not too good in music apart from some line catcher song ther is no good music and songs and specially if u are watching yash raj film. but thank god this time adi has not hit on us with his heavy hathoda of mahobattein thing, ya last movie which he gave mahobattein was a hit but too much of pyaar , mahobbatein ka heavy dose thaa, this film is little bit light on subject, of course there was pyaar ki baaten so go guys watch this movie, its an entertainer, and paisa vasool kind of movie.

I think we would all agree, whoever has seen the film, that we would all want to see SRK in that simple look..because that is the hatke moment, that is the prima of the film. The story is predictable for the most part. Although you wish there was something more...something seemed missing...but still it is a picture worth watching since SRK is too bloody damn good....waise I think that the new comer Anushka was okay strictly...seems like more footage could have been given to her...I dunno...but I guess I'm not an expert nor the director...but she does a heck-ova gud job in the film...two thumbs way up!!!...Vinay Pathak is superb...he justifies every character he plays...superb...of course, the movie belongs to SRK - no second opinions about that...well, at least in my opinion....but Anushka is now the next big thing in the bollywood....so go on enjoy the moviee...because haule haule rab ne bana hi di jodi....aur phir mitley hain chalte chalte...

I had absolutely zero expectations from this film even though it boasts of an Aditya Chopra-SRK combination so I didn't come out too disappointed. The whole concept behind the movie is good - where beauty is only skin deep and its the heart of a person that truly matters but it has been stretched so endlessly that towards the end of the film especially the last half hour you feel like tearing your hair out and praying for the movie to finish. Not being a very big fan of SRK I was disarmed by his rather charming performance spot on as Surinder but completely over the top as a stereotypical Raj. Not his best but up there with Swades and Chak De India. Anushka is very average - she has the required innocence but Deepika she is not. She is awkward in many of the key scenes in the movie that required someone with a bit more experience. However with a bit more polish she will go far. Vinay Pathak is good but not been utilised properly. The music is average. Overall its a must for SRK fans - he is good in an otherwise very very average film that could have been a masterpiece if not lost in translation.
