This one is yet another gem of thought process of Aditya Chopra. The concept is unique – needs lots of maturity and understanding of Indian culture. It is said that in this world everyone is average person. Having said that, when you will be marrying someone – always remember that he/she is an average individual. If you are going to stuck for a heroic personality only, it’s not going to work. Although you can always find some or other heroic moments in your marriage life to make it interesting, cheerful and of course a great success. With his first film, DDLJ – Aditya brought in new concept which was not so well routed in youngsters at that contemporary time. It was the concept of well arranged love marriage with due permission of parents. Now he came up with this concept of common man – average spouse. Wherein till today, all the YRF films and Johar’s films have boasted about a dream man – RAJ or RAHUL. But in real life you will always meet Surindar Sahni – not really this much common, but yes certainly you are not going to get RAJ. This was again much needed part of life, which was missing from this cinematic world. So here is first credit goes to Aditya. Now coming to technical parts of movie making. Script is not gripping or in fact it is lousy in first part. Much discussed pit falls like – why Surindar’s wife couldn’t identify him in Raj’s makeover. These were actually forgettable things when it comes to any other movie but not expected at all from Aditya – Shahrukh most awaited movie. But apart from this, second part is fully dramatic, well executed and very honest to its concept discussed above. Climax and specially photographs of this couple’s Japan trip are noteworthy. Aditya really deserves accolades for this last part as he has really captured exactly - how a common middle class man will show and discuss his honeymoon photographs. On performance front, everyone is fantastic. First Vinay Pathak – good one. Then Anushka – Debut venture against a superstar, biggest brand of bollywood, but equally competent, confident performance. This one can certainly bag best debut award (subjected to conditions – Asin’s performance in Ghazini). And then here we come to the greatest of all – Shahrukh, the king Khan. He has done two roles. One is of Raj. This one is his strength area. The character of a flirting, romantic lover boy. Shahrukh has done it many a times and this time also he hasn’t gone wrong. The same flirting style, proposing in grand way and then tears in eyes – really a good treat. And second one of Surindar Sahni from Panjab Power. Unmatched, no parallel performance. The show is entirely of this character and this actor. Once in a life time happening. I really doubt if anybody else could have done it better. Final word – Don’t go with your Intellegent Quotient, go with emotional quotient and you will enjoy the movie.  

hmm it's a kind of movie which should be released in 90's. This is not a movie which will be liked…  

hmm it's a kind of movie which should be released in 90's. This is not a movie which will be liked by current generation who likes rock on, dil chata hai, tare zameen par etc, etc. Only hard core fans of srk will pary this movie. My view is that Anuska is much better than srk in this movie.

First of all I must admit, that I really love SRK and I was waiting for this movie to be released.…  

First of all I must admit, that I really love SRK and I was waiting for this movie to be released. After I've read Taran's review... I was really really disapppinted by that movie... but when I saw it... I really felt it was a cute movie... something different in these times of body exposures and bad songs. To be honest Taran stole all the excitement for this movie with his review :-( And I didn't really enjoy the movie cuz I was trying to find out why Taran has written such bad critics. So the movie ended with a smile on my face and a huge questionmark... WHY THE HELL DID TARAN WRITE ALL THIS CRAP???

Taran adrash has some issue about giving review. how can he justify when he gave 4 star to stupid…  

Taran adrash has some issue about giving review. how can he justify when he gave 4 star to stupid movie like Karzzzzz. Taran is so bias when it comes to give the review. he had done it before and will do it again. Rab ne bana di jodi is surprised packaged with everything in it. Start from script to dialouge to performences to music to cinamaphotography to story...everything is just outstanding. it has different story and well made without having cheezy emotional scene. i was in love with ddlj and had give awesome movie like mohabbatien. i had faith in Aditya chopra and thankfully, he didn't let me down. go to the theatre and have some fun........it is funny, emotional and entertaining. 

It's a beautiful movie. I have seen it twice already and hope to see it at least one more time. I…
