Rab ne Bana di Jodi may not be one of Shahrukh Khan's best movies, but it's still a good one. Rab ne Bana di Jodi had HUGE HUGE expectations, and in my opinion it did fall short of those expectations, one would expect a masterpiece from the Adi-SRK combo just like Mohabbatein and DDLJ, but Rab ne bana di Jodi is no masterpiece, but that doesn't mean its not a good movie. Rab ne Bana di Jodi is a well made movie, with some great sequences such as: Surinder asking Bobby for a makeover, the interval scene, the golden temple scene and many more. Also rab ne bana di jodi has a great climax and emotional end. The storyline is great, the screenplay doesn't hold at times, but overall it's still a good movie. As for songs most of them are great like 'Tujh Mein rab dikhta hai', 'Haule Haule' and 'Phir Milenge Chalte Chalte', the only song that is alright is 'Dance Pe Chance' but the male verses in the song are good. Performance wise, Vinay Pathak does a fantastic job in the supporting role, Anushka Sharma performs with great confidence in her debut, Shahrukh Khan performance as raj is quite funny although he does go a bit overboard but his performance as Surinder is unbelievable, he performs the role with such confidence,passion and maturity, that it'll leave you amazed. Overall, like Taran said, Rab ne Bana di Jodi, is no Mohabbatein, and its no DDLJ, but it's still a great movie, must watch!

Keeping my fingers crossed i started the movie...Expecting that nothings goes wrong But the fact that i knew that the script wasn`t so good i felt that movie might be dissappointing. BUT..............wait a minute Its a masterpiece of its kind.and i say it because of so many factors.This film has defined the art of commercial film acting because at the end of the day what We (the general public wants is sound entertainment with gripping performances from the actors we love. This is actually what Rab Ne Banadi Jodi is. Shahrukh Khans acting as Surinder is just Excellent and the one as Raj is no less either. Now talk about Anushka she tried allot and i guess she was over worked as well. but some of her expressions i it happened on 4 to 5 occasions were just outstanding and you can`t teach those skills. It defines her talent and she`ll grow with the time. The Comedy moments were also very hilarious and were never forced. The most difficult part for the director was the Ending as to how he creates such an end to the film so that people can feel that it can`t be better than this. And i feel they had definitely succeeded in doing so. All an All it is a proper family entertainer and has very little flaws if there are any.. From my point of view it is a must watch and a very likable movie for every normal person. Those could still find this film not interesting then i can only feel sorry for them All praise goes to the complete team for making a very nice sweet story called "Rab Ne Banadi Jodi" Deserves ***** (5/5)

Aditya Chopra has gone back to the very basics of film making. Simple sets, simple script and a well defined role for all of his characters make Rab Ne bana Di Jodi a simple treat. Surprisingly it lacks all the foreign locales and snow clad mountains but still manages to hold you. A romantic saga through and through, the film drips of all things that you associate with Yash Raj through the years but still comes away with being fresh. Coming to performances – SRK is brilliant. As Surinder Sahni and then as Raj, he is as different as chalk and cheese. But yet as lovable in both his forms. The emotional takes are lovely and definitely do strike a chord in most of us. Debutant Anushka Sharma is a real find! She is leaps and bounds above Deepika Padukone who debuted opposite the King Khan last year. She has a very bright career ahead of her. Her beauty is not the usual fair skin, light eyed variety but yet her face keeps you looking at her without blinking. A big thumbs up for her, for sure! Vinay Pathak has done an equally good job in his small but very important role. As SRK’s best mate, he provides the all important support system for Surinder Sahni. The film is just under three hours and still it ensures you enjoy all of it – something most films in 2008 haven’t been able to do!. Way to go SRK, "STRONGLY RECOMMENDED"

Rab Ne Banaa Di Jodi(RBNJ) shows yet again the prowess of the mighty King Khan.SRK easily slips in both the characters of Suri and Raj efficiently and effortlessly.The movie is a little bit slow paced one in the beginning but manages to come quickly in its normal pace.Anushka Sharma sizzles on screen alongside SRK with fresh talent.She is yet another girl in tinsel town to watch out for!
