just ok movie.get heavily promoted because of Aamir Khan productions. i wish film could be that good too.lack of entrertainment and boring.feel like a documentary.only few light scenes.

peepli live is a movie of perfomance,its about human behavior about times when they are good and…  

peepli live is a movie of perfomance,its about human behavior about times when they are good and bad and all above media and its greed what we all are mostly addictad to..its a very fine attemt to make a film which deals with realism how things can happen in peoples life and how does it define it..watch it for fab perfomace and a story... 

It is good movie but not V Good for sure... FUll marks to Anusha , Aamir and UTV for their honest…

It seems focefully she has bought political sceneios into the main script.director has failed to mixup the actuall content of the movie.somany unneccery characters are there which are irrelevant. there iks no meaning in the movie to use slangs..fooling audience is not so easy..except editing and acting in some scenes nothing is good in the movie.

This review is only to counter all the bad reviews. Just because there were no songs and dances or big star casts, you are going to write off the film? Go home and watch B4U Music or something - you'll find a whole lot of that kind of content. This a serious film made for a serious cause with a well thought out screenplay and script. The acting is superior to what many of our "beloved superstars" have ever done. Aamir Khan is one of the very few people who is steering the Bollywood industry in the right direction to keep its head above water. Watch the film for the story, the script, the acting, the message, the direction... not candy floss superficial decorations such as songs, dance , and superstars. I'm not saying that songs, dance, and superstars shouldn't exist - they make movies fun. But learn to appreciate these kind of films as well.

Hats off 2 d director of the movie to pull out such a serious subjec in a humourous way... Omkar as NAtha is excllent..He doesnt hav much dialogues bt his expressions tells evrything.. Al the actors are superb in the movie... The journalists r awesome... 1st hlaf is full of humour....and d 2nd half 2n d last 15 min the film turns serious with the missing of NAtha... On he whole the movie is a must watch...

The decent opening is due to the Aamir Khan brand name and now it remains to be seen how the film goes from here but the biggest plus is that Aamir Khan name has give the film a chance to do well theatrically by bringing a decent amount of footfalls into theatres on day one. The film is profitable even without theatrical business as the satellite rights coupled with Home Video will more than cover the costs of the film
