The music of this Himesh Reshammiya starrer is in one word stunning. It has a perfect blend of folk and sufi melodies with a Arabic flavour. Kajra kajra Kajraare and Rabba luck barsa reminds us the Himesh we all love. Both compositions have very catchy tunes and great music instrumentation. These songs leaves a soothing effect to the mind of the listeners.
Tujhe dekh ke armaan jage and Woh lamha phir se jeena hai are typical Himesh melodies and have a haunted feeling in them. The voice of Himesh have done full justice to these songs. Teriyan Meriyan is a pure indian song with soft melodies. This song also may be a hit if properly promoted. There are a few negetives which I would like to mention:
In a couple of songs (Sanu Guzra Zamana, Afreen Afreen) the voice of Himesh does not sound cool. Himesh could have used some other singer for those songs. Though the compositions are wonderful, himesh's high pitch voice is not suitable for those tunes. These songs could have been trendsetters if sung by Sonu Nigam or Shaan. Himesh could have used more of Shreya and Sunidhi's voice in the duet songs. All over, we can say it is a great comeback from Himesh and we all hope this album creates history.

Me being the first one to write a user's review even after the songs have been released reflects Himesh's fading rage. The music of the song is top notch however, Reshamiyaan's vocal and low lyrics by Sammer ( Who tries to be Gulzar by lending some unconventional lyrics, but doesn't work)screws up the affair. Seriously its time that Rashamiyaan goes back to do wht he does the best Composing music rather than singing or Acting (Hell NO!!!)

Ok let me start with telling that is album is very different & has different sound in it. In 1st time you won't understand not only the music but also the meaning of the song and lyrics., one need to hear more and more to understand the meaning of some songs like "Tujeh Dekh Ke", "Teriyan Meriyan" have very odd but the same time new, fresh & different lyrics and tune and then obviously sung in usual voice by Himesh that is why whole thing sound so different than what we hearing these days. so much mixing of folk, sufi & Indian classical elements in Music. what else I say just experience this music hearing by your self.

Last year we had a Himesh movie called Radio. To be frank, the music was high quality but not to my taste. Himesh's Karzzz(even if the movie was terrible) is one of my favorite soundtracks even today, and Radio was pale compared to that.
Kajraare, however, is a mix of his old soundtracks.
There's the chartbuster(title song), there's the revelation( Rabba Luck Barsa), there's the romantic songs and there's the classical songs. The classical songs "Sanu..." and "Tuhje..." are not to my taste but high quality. Aafreen is not that great but worthy. The rest are great. Teriyan Meriyan is amazing, the title track is superb, Rabba Luck Barsa is great, and Woh Lamha is AWESOME. Overall the soundtrack is better than Radio, not better than Karzzz but as good as Aap Kaa Surroor-which was pretty great.

After listening to this brand new Himesh Reshammiya compositions in 'Kajraare', i am feeling extremely happy as it came after a long hiatus after 'Radio'.As like any other Himesh's album, i'm sure the music would be loved by all especially by hardcore Himesh fans. Yet i feel the detractors of Himesh would also love the album for a few songs which are simply mind blowing. Adding to that, Sunidhi chauhan's voice, Shreya ghosal's irresistable tone, Dj Akbar Sami's heart pumping remix, the album has everything to it for the young and the adults alike. Though a couple of songs disappointed me, but on the whole, i presume the album has been done with great sincerity by Himesh and so it will be liked by all.
