Golmaal returns...will be a big relief to the film industry n moreover to the audience as their paisa is completely vaisool after watching GR... It has all the content wht it takes to be a complete family entertainer n full on dhamaal.. all the actors have played their part well..but the best is Tusshar kapoor n giving him company is Shreyas talpade...their chemistry in some scenes is just amazing... Tusshar will win an award again this time...for sure.. kareena is very cute, amrita is nice, celina has improved n moreover all covered..but she was really good in GR... Songs are peppy,'tha karke' well shot... dialogues in some places are super black n tashan spoof r super, the scene between tusshar n shreyas r the highlights... arshad is nice not tht great... overall a must watch....

If the question was - ‘Golmaal’ sequel should be made or not to be made? Then putting it blunt…
If the question was - ‘Golmaal’ sequel should be made or not to be made? Then putting it blunt and straight ‘Golmaal Returns’ should never have been made. Period! After delivering a laugh till you drop through ‘Golmaal’ in 2006, Rohit Shetty’s star packed extravaganza ‘Golmaal Returns’ is a sad, glum disappointment to say the least.<BR><BR> Touted to be a sequel of the 2006 blockbuster, ‘Golmaal Returns’ carries forward very little from its original script. And it’s not just the script that is lost somewhere between these years; the very characterization of the four key oddballs has gone for a toss. As a result the much-loved bumpkins are seen struggling throughout the flick.<BR><BR> To start with the script - the entire plot is banal and has nothing new in store for you. Even though the cast and crew have constantly maintained that ‘Golmaal’ is not to be taken seriously and is a fun-film, let us tell you that it’s not fun but pun that the actors seem to be poking at the intelligent audience.<BR><BR> So what is this ‘wannabe’ funny movie all about?<BR><BR> The film narrates the story of an irritated but loving husband Gopal (Devgan) who is bumped up by his wife Ekta’s (kareena) eccentricities. According to Ekta, her hubby is a drop dead hunk, whom every woman in the world is yearning to bed with. Her annoying obsession for her husband is further aggravated by her love for tele-queen Ekta kapoor’s vamp packed ‘K’ soaps.<BR><BR> The ever fighting couple is joined by Gopal’s sister Esha (Amrita) and a dumb brother- in-law Lucky (Tusshar), who share their love pad and live under the same roof. The story picks up pace when one ultra filmy night, Gopal has to spend the night out with a beautiful young lady Mira Nair (Celina) on a yacht due to some unforeseen circumstances.<BR><BR> To avoid his suspicious wife’s nasty interrogation, Gopal takes the easy road and lies about his whereabouts to Ekta saying that he was in company of his good buddy Anthony Gonsalves.<BR><BR> But just like any other lie, this one too gives birth to another and soon involves Laxman (Shreyas), who is Gopal’s junior colleague.<BR><BR> However, things take a nasty turn and turn ugly when a corpse of Gopal’s office employee is found. As investigating officer Madhav (Arshad) comes into the picture, the lie begins to spread its web and the life of the characters goes topsy-turvy. There is a messy chaos, where everyone is busy hiding something and ending up lying to one another.<BR><BR> Phew… confused? Ahh, bound to be! After all, every attempt seems to be made in this direction. Even though Shetty brings together some hilarious situations, the poor dialogue delivery and weak sequences make the entire film fall flat. Nevertheless, an attempt to make the movie fun is clearly visible.<BR><BR> As per the performances go, all applaud should go to Shreyas Talpade and Tusshar Kapoor (who pulls off a smash-hit performance each time he goes mute). The two are the only saving grace of the flick Ajay and Kareena do not stand up to the hype surrounding them and make a dull couple.<BR><BR> Amrita Arora, better known as Kareena’s sidekick, once again plays the dumb glam doll. As for Arshad Warsi, one simply fails to understand what made ‘circuit’ say ‘yes’ to this role. Surprisingly, Celina has pulled off a decent performance that too fully clothed!<BR><BR> In all, watch ‘Golmaal Returns’ at your own risk. Two overrated cheers for this one!

Golmaal Returns Oh god! What a terrible movie .My Diwali holiday was going perfectly fine till I saw this.Off late Bollywood comedies have reached a saturation point and they are just not funny any more .Golmaal returns just to ruin the fond memory of Golmaal .The prequel was clearly one of the best comic fare I have seen but this certainly ranks amongst the worst .The movie is an absolute tragedy and the biggest letdown of the year so far.Can not believe I was so excited for this crap ! What was Rohit Shetty thinking when he wrote this script?Having directed good entertainers like Sunday and Golmaal I expected at least a decent comedy but the film is an absolute torture right from the first scene to the last .. The first half was inane and I expected the film to get better post the interval .But it became worse and unbearable .The jokes are absolutely banal which makes you pinch yourself for sitting through this joke of a film .The script is the worst in the recent memory one can remember .The way Arshad executes the whole murder mystery is a terrible put off.The last 40 minutes are absolutely disastrous with each character trying to outdo each other to get hanged under the tree .Can't get more juvenile than this.Nightmare! The film has been dragged to the limit of patience and for the first time in my life I felt like leaving a movie mid-way.It really tests your patience. The way they have made the fun of handicapped is just too sick .For instance the film in a scene compares a dumb person with a mobile which does not have a ringtone .Terrible There were just two scenes in the entire film which made me laugh .The one involving Ajay and celina when they get to spend the night in the ship with the TV was howlarious .The second when they dress up as a cross dresser. Performances are the sole saving grace .Ajay does quite well .His comic timing is just perfect.Kareena looks absolutely stunning .She has never looked this beautiful before.Tusshar entertains .Shreyas is excellent .Arshad warsi is not upto the mark .The remaining heroines are a mere prop .. Avoid at all cost!

Golmaal Returns is not an ordinary film but to be most precise a vagrant, bid scale, lavish Spoof-fest..It is spoof of all typicalities of bollywood cinema..It spoofs action, it spoofs romance, it spoofs even comedy and doesn't spare Rajnikant too..Its not a film but a compilation of about a 1000 jokes rolled into a 2 hour 20 min show..You can say that its an extended Great Indian Laughter Challenge with each actor trying to outsmart the other.. Its strange that even though it has no story, no script, a screenplay which I could write in my sleep, its pretty "SHAQING" enjoyable..You laugh at all though jokes but would still be wondering why cause they are so funny..Its an absolute time pass with a galore of single meaning dialogues(yeah not double meaning)..Its a guilty pleasure I would say..The jokes are all funny barring the atrocious climax where I wished to be doing what each character of the film was trying to do.. Acting wise Tushhar Kapoor was dumb and he was good, so naturally he has been wasting his talent mouthing dialogues till date..Shreyas Talpade is good ..Strange that an actor Of Ajay Devgan's calibre accepted such a role where he is neither funny nor effective..Kareena Kapoor hams but then who in this so called film doesn't..Rest all are wasted(specially Arshad Warsi). Music is bad and songs are worse.. 2/5.
