"Ram Leela" is probably among the most disappointing works of Bhansali... The reason why I say it is disappointing rather than frustrating is because this same filmmaker has given us movies like 'Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam', 'Devdas' and 'Black' and now he comes up with his own version of Romeo-Juliet and completely messes up with the screenplay and editing... The first half is still bearable but there are too many songs to disturb the flow (5 songs in 1st half is too much) and the 2nd half is even worse than that of 'Ek Thi Daayan'... It has no connection of stories, it brings out no feeling and looks like a hurried approach towards telling a story (which kind of doesn't exist)... The romance between Ranveer and Deepika won't touch your hearts because it is motivated by s** (you know that) and not by feelings, and isn't natural at all... I can't comment on their acting because when you are watching a movie by SLB, that is all that sticks to your mind, and Ram Leela is the worst adaptation of Romeo-Juliet...
Few songs and Ranveer's role in 1st half are pluses but overall it is a Spoiler...
Not Recommended at all... Save your dime... Save your time...
